Incoming Bulldog Kramp Named Indiana Baseball Player Of The Year
Incoming freshman pitcher Kyle Kramp, who earlier this year signed a National Letter of Intent to attend Butler beginning this fall, was selected as the Indiana High School Baseball Coaches Association's Player of the Year.
Kramp, a right-handed pitcher from Westfield (Ind.) High School, finished his senior season after leading the Shamrocks to the Class 4A Runner-Up showing at the state championship. He went 10-2 with a 1.79 ERA and 101 strikeouts in 82 innings before being selected in the 45th round of the Major League Baseball Amateur Draft by the San Francisco Giants.
