Gray Wins Butler Baseball Fall World Series

The Gray finished the Butler Fall World Series with a 5-1 win over the Blue Monday afternoon. The Gray claimed the best-of-7 series 4-2.

Junior Jared Wagoner was the winning pitcher. Juniors Grant Fillipitch and Steve Darragh were contributors at the plate. Fillipitch hit a triple and Darragh added a double.

The Blue plagued themselves with mistakes, committing five errors behind starting pitcher Mike Hernandez and also having four baserunners picked off first base.

Junior Jack Krause led the Blue at the plate with a double.

The game was played with wooden bats.

The winning Gray team was coached by Jeff Brown and Ryan Kruszka. Bobby Segal coached the Blue.
