Blue Wins Game 5, 5-1

The Blue squad got good pitching, solid defense and timely hitting to edge the Gray Tuesday night, 5-1. With the win, the Blue takes a 3-2 lead in the Butler Fall World Series.

Senior Bobby Mosser, sophomore Mike Hoscheit and freshman Jack Dillon each had an extra-base hit to lead the Blue. Junior righty Dom Silvestri picked up the win in relief.

Junior catcher Mike Letzter had a double and freshman Andrew Eckhardt went 3-for-3 to lead the Gray team.

Game 6 and game 7 (if necessary) will take place next week after Butler's fall break.
