High School: All-conference honoree at St. Charles East High School...team captain...batted .449 with nine home runs, seven doubles and 34 RBI as a senior...team went 18-14 as a junior and 18-13 as a senior...also a team captain and all-conference honoree as a member of the football team...team went 8-2 his junior year and 8-3 his senior year, earning a conference title in 2007.
