500 Victories: Steve Farley At Butler

Butler's 17-3 win over Wabash was the program's 500th victory with Steve Farley as head coach. Farley, in his 21st season at BU, owns 553 wins as a college head coach. See below for a breakdown of Farley's milestone wins at Butler.

Farley came to Butler in 1992 and won his first two games on the team's spring trip to Florida. His 100th win came vs. Milwaukee in 1996 and his 200th win at Butler was an 11-1 rout over UIC in the 1999 MCC Baseball Championship.

Butler won No. 300 under Farley vs. IPFW in 2003, a season in which Butler tied a school record with 34 wins. Farley's 400th win came vs. Wright State in 2007. He entered the 2012 season with 484 wins at Butler and now the Bulldogs are 16-13 on the season.

BU has earned two trips to the NCAA Tournament under Farley, and two former Bulldogs (Pat Neshek and Dan Johnson) have played in Major League Baseball.
