INDIANAPOLIS – Butler posted a 9-3 victory against IPFW on Friday afternoon. Will Amador hit a three-run homerun over the fence in left centerfield and Ryan Wojciechowski added a two-run blast in the bottom of the seventh to lead BU to victory.

Eric Stout earned his first win on the mound this season as he tossed the first five innings of the game for the Bulldogs. Stout struck out four and walked four in his home debut. The Mastodons scored two earned runs off the lefty by way of three hits.

Will Schierholz and Billy Laing also took the mound on Friday with Schierholz throwing three innings and Laing coming in for one. Schierholz gave up one run off two hits while Laing cruised with zeros across the board in the top of the ninth.

Amador had a great day at the plate finishing the game 3-for-4 with five RBIs and two runs scored. His three-run shot in the third inning came after a leadoff double in the second. He reached five RBIs by helping Butler score two more runs with a single up the middle in the fourth.

Joining Amador and Wojciechowski in the RBI column was Michael Fries and Quincy Quintero. The middle of the lineup did the most damage for BU as Fries, Amador and Quintero combined for eight of Butler's 12 hits.

Butler and IPFW will return to the diamond tomorrow for a 1 p.m. first pitch.
