Butler captured a third straight Horizon League regular season
championship last year and made its third straight NCAA Tournament
appearance. The Bulldogs were ranked in the “Top
25” (Associated Press and ESPN/USA Today) for 12 consecutive
weeks, climbing as high as No. 11 in the nation.
Butler’s Matt Howard was named Horizon League Player of the
Year, while Gordon Hayward was chosen as the league’s
Newcomer of the Year. Both were picked to the Horizon League
preseason All-League first team, while sophomore Shelvin Mack was
named to the preseason All-League second team.
Season ticket sales are up 27% from last year, and season packages
are still available. In addition to guaranteed seating for
all of Butler’s home games, season ticket-holders have
priority in purchasing tickets to selected road games, as well as
post-season games. Tickets can be purchased by visiting the
Hinkle Fieldhouse ticket office or by calling 317-940-DOGS.
