INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- A growing number of speculative news
reports concerning the future of Butler men’s basketball
coach Brad Stevens has led to the Bulldogs’ coach releasing
the following statement:
“I am happy and extremely grateful to be the head coach at
Butler University, and I am already looking forward to next season
and the start of our postseason workouts in April.”
Stevens recently completed his fifth season as head coach of the
Bulldogs, leading a young Butler team to a 22-15 record and into
the semifinals of the 2012 College Basketball Invitational.
He boosted his career record to 139-40 and claimed the top spot on
the NCAA Division I list for Best Career Starts By Wins, 5
