For the fourth season in a row, MyINDY-TV 23 brings Butler Bulldog Basketball to local television viewers all across Central Indiana, with a minimum of 12* LIVE game broadcasts from the historic Hinkle Fieldhouse and on the road.
“MyINDY-TV 23 is pleased to welcome Butler Basketball back for a fourth season. Once again, we’re providing fans this front row seat experience in high definition,” said Jeff White, president and general manager of MyINDY-TV 23 and WISH-TV. “These broadcasts continue our commitment and the dedication of resources we’ve made to producing the highest quality local sports and event programming Central Indiana viewers want. Butler returns eight letter winners from last year’s 28-10 squad. Last season, the Bulldogs captured the Horizon League regular season and tournament championships and won the Diamond Head Classic in Hawaii. Butler’s NCAA Tournament run included a championship in the Southeast Region and second straight appearance in the Final Four and a second consecutive national runner-up finish.
“We’re excited to continue our partnership with MyINDY-TV 23,” said Brad Stevens, Butler head coach. “Our fans appreciate having at least 12 games televised locally again this season.”
Zionsville, Indiana native Brad Stevens heads into his fifth season as Butler’s Head Coach. Stevens sits on top of the list for best basketball coaching starts in NCAA History. A two time Horizon League Coach of the Year, he has guided the Bulldogs to 117 wins in his career, breaking the previous four-year NCAA Division I record of 107 wins.
