2012: Played in all 11 varsity contests and tallied 27 tackles, 17 solo. He also finished with five and a half tackles for loss, including four and a half sacks. He forced one fumble and recovered one fumble. 

2011:  Played in nine games...credited with 10 tackles, including one quarterback sack.

Personal:  Business major...born 5/18/93...son of Glen and Cathy Somers.

High School:  All-State defensive lineman at Fenwick High School...three-year varsity starter...team captain and MVP as a senior...named to the Catholic League Blue All-Conference Team...helped lead Fenwick to a win over Curie at the 77th Prep Bowl as a senior...earned three varsity football letters...High School Coach:  Joseph DiCanio.
