Ridley, Storey Named Preseason All-PFL
INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- Butler seniors Jordan Ridley and Matt
Storey have been named to the 2012 Preseason All-Pioneer Football
League Team, release by the league office on Tuesday (July
31). The two Butler standouts were among 29 players
recognized on the preseason squad.
Ridley, a linebacker from Indianapolis, has led the PFL in tackles
for two consecutive seasons. He’s a two-time, first
team All-PFL pick and a two-time Butler Defensive Player of the
Year. He enters his final collegiate season with 306 career
tackles.
Storey, an offensive tackle from St. Louis, Mo., was an honorable
mention All-PFL offensive lineman in 2011. He’s started
22 consecutive games for the Bulldogs, and he helped Butler rank
third in the PFL in total offense last season.
Butler will open its fall camp on Sunday, August 5. The
Bulldogs’ first 2012 contest will be at Western Illinois on
Thursday, August 30.
