Butler To Hold Soccer Prep Camp
The Butler University men’s soccer program will hold a
College Prep Camp on Friday and Saturday, March 12-13. The
camp for high school boys will be hosted on the Butler campus.
The Butler Soccer Prep Camp gives players an opportunity to train
and play in an environment that resembles the college soccer
experience. Many of the current Butler players and incoming
recruits have participated in the College Prep Camp. There
are limited spaces available for this camp and it is limited to
high school age players.
The objective for this camp is to afford the committed soccer
player the opportunity to be trained and evaluated by the Butler
coaching staff in a college training environment. It also allows
players that are interested in Butler as their college choice to
see Butler's campus and meet the coaching staff. The camp is set up
as a day camp and does not include food or accommodations. We can
however make hotel suggestions should they be needed.
The camp will begin on March 12 with check-in at 5:30 p.m.
There will be an evening session Friday, starting at 6 p.m., and
two sessions on Saturday, with the camp concluding at 3:00 p.m. The
cost for this camp will be $150.00. The camp staff will consist of
the Butler University Men’s Soccer coaching staff, as well as
other elite level coaches. For registration and information go to

questions.
Butler is coming off one of the most successful men's soccer
seasons in school history. The Bulldogs posted a 14-3-2
record, won the Horizon League Championship, and earned a
“Top 25” national ranking. Butler was the #12
overall seed in the 2009 NCAA Tournament. Over the past two
years, Butler has compiled a 27-6-6 record, which ranks among the
best marks in all of college soccer.
