Butler To Host Ohio State In Men's Soccer Exhibition

INDIANAPOLIS, IND. -- Butler, wrapping up the home portion of its spring developmental season, will host Ohio State in a men’s soccer exhibition at Park Tudor High School on Saturday, April 17.  The match between the champions of the Horizon League and the Big Ten will start at 8 p.m. (ET) and admission will be $5.00.

The Bulldogs faced Ohio State in a regular season match in Columbus, Ohio, last September.  The Buckeyes prevailed in that meeting, 2-1, on a pair of goals by Chris Hegngi.  It was Butler’s lone setback in the first 13 matches of the season.

Ohio State finished the 2009 campaign with a 14-6 record, while capturing Big Ten regular season and tournament championships.  Butler was 14-3-2 with a regular season title in the Horizon League.

Prior to the Ohio State match, the Bulldogs will play an exhibition contest against Indiana Wesleyan, starting at 5 p.m.
