Butler To Face Detroit On Tuesday, Oct. 27
The Butler-Detroit men’s soccer match, which was postponed
on Saturday (Oct. 24), has been rescheduled for Tuesday, Oct.
27. The two Horizon League opponents will square off in the
Butler Bowl at 4 p.m. (ET).
Butler was originally scheduled to play non-league foe Oakland on
Tuesday. That match will be rescheduled at a future
date. The Butler-Detroit match was postponed because of
illness affecting the Detroit squad.
The Bulldogs (10-1-1, 3-0-1 Horizon League), ranked No. 23 in last
week’s National Soccer Coaches Association of America
national poll, are riding a four-match winning streak and a
seven-match unbeaten streak. Butler defeated DePaul, 3-1, in
a non-league match in its last match on Wednesday, Oct. 21.
