Under the lights at the Butler Bowl, the Butler men's soccer team will host No. 18 Indiana in what will be a major college soccer environment. The Bulldogs enter the match after last Saturday's tie vs. UIC. Indiana, ranked seventh three weeks ago, enters with a three-match losing streak.
Butler has won two of the last three in the series, including a 4-1 win in Bloomington last year. This is the first time the two schools have met in the Butler Bowl. The series, which Indiana leads 19-3-1, has historically been played at Kuntz Stadium.
In last season's Butler victory, Tyler Pollock scored two goals as Butler routed the Hoosiers on Oct. 27. The win made BU 14-0-1 at the time as the Bulldogs would finish 16-1-2 and earn a national seed in the NCAA Tournament.
