INDIANAPOLIS - Butler won five of six singles contests to claim a 5-2 win over Dayton on Friday. BU won at Nos. 2-5 in the lineup to beat the Flyers.
Four of the five singles wins came in straight sets, with Tommy Marx needing three sets to win at No. 3 singles. BU rolled easily at the bottom of the lineup, with Billy Weldon winning 6-2, 6-3 at No. 5 and Brandon Woods cruising 6-1, 6-1 at No. 6.
