Bulldogs Fall At No. 31 Notre Dame

NOTRE DAME, Ind. - Nationally-ranked Notre Dame held off the Butler men's tennis team 7-0 on Saturday.

Brandon Woods was the most competitive Bulldog against the 31st-ranked Irish. Playing No. 4 singles, Woods took ND's Alex Lawson into a third-set tie-breaker. Lawson held on 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-4).

Woods and Pulok Bhattacharya won five games at No. 2 doubles before being knocked off 8-5. 

The Bulldogs have two matches remaining before the 2013 Atlantic 10 Men's Tennis Championships at the end of April. BU is at Saint Louis April 13 and hosts Cleveland State April 20.
