Butler tennis was as well represented as it has even been at last weekend’s ITA Men’s Regional Tennis Championships. Eight players played singles – including three in the main draw – and each of the four doubles teams won a match in the main doubles draw. Read Full Release [+]

Butler Tennis Update
Both of the schedules are out for the Butler tennis teams, and BU has announced who is going to the ITA Regional Tournament.

Raynauld, Warren Highlight Day 2 Action At Purdue
Ben Raynauld and Bryce Warren won the doubles consolation bracket and Andrew Bayliss and Stephen McLoughlin won their consolation singles matches in the final day of Purdue’s fall invite.

Raynauld, Bayliss Highlight Day 1 Action At Purdue
Senior Ben Raynauld and junior Brandon Bayliss each went 2-0 in singles play to advance to the semifinals in their respective flights Saturday at Purdue fall invitational. Sophomore Stephen McLoughlin and freshman Andrew Bayliss will play in the consolation finals Sunday after rallying for afternoon victories.

Butler Tennis Teams Hosting Homecoming Alumni Matches
Butler fans and alumni planning on attending Saturday’s Homecoming festivities are encouraged to Butler tennis at the new outdoor tennis courts beginning at 10:30 a.m. The new facilities are located just south of Varsity Field and the IM fields on the other side of the canal.

Herron, Doubles Play Lead BU At Ball State Tourney
Junior Chris Herron placed second in the singles B flight and two Bulldog doubles teams reached the semifinals to lead the Butler men’s tennis team at the Ball State Invitational this past weekend. The tourney was BU’s second of the fall season.

Benji Raynauld and Bryce Warren finished second in doubles together and Chris Herron and Zach Ervin each went 3-1 for the Butler men’s tennis team at the Hoosier Invitational at IU recently.

Bulldogs Sweep Past Phoenix For Third Place
In a repeat match-up of last year's third-place bout in the Horizon League Championship, the Butler men's tennis team picked up a pair of wins in doubles play for the first point before scoring three-straight victories in singles competition to tally at 4-0 sweep of Green Bay on Sunday (April 26) at North Central High School.
