Cindy Butts begins her 12th season as the secretary for the women’s basketball department. She assists the coaching staff with the day-to-day activities of the office.

Prior to working at Butler, Butts served as a technology assistant with the Wayne Township school district for eight years.

Butts, who graduated from nearby Speedway High School, earned her degree in business marketing from the University of Cincinnati.

She lives in Indianapolis with her husband, David. The couple has two children, a daughter Audra, 26, and son, Kyle, 24.
