The Butler women's soccer team will look to extend its win streak to three matches when it hosts former Horizon League foe Youngstown State Saturday at the Butler Bowl at 5:30 p.m. The match will be Senior Day for the Bulldogs, with the team recognizing its three seniors:  Kelly Grott, Rachael Melendez and Claire Milam.

The seniors have combined for 27 wins during their four seasons and helped Butler capture the Horizon League regular season championship in 2010.

The Bulldogs (5-3-1) will enter Saturday's contest with plenty of momentum, having outscored their last two opponents 5-1.

Freshman midfielder Sophia Maccagnone accounted for three of those five goals, garnering Atlantic 10 Women's Soccer Rookie of the Week honors for her efforts. The Shelby Township, Mich., native leads the A-10 in game-winning goals (3) and her team-best five goals are fourth most in the conference.

Butler ranks second in the A-10 in shots (133) and has allowed the second fewest goals in the league (7). Only VCU (6) has allowed fewer goals this season.

After a strong start to the season, the Penguins (4-3) have lost three straight matches, including two setbacks last weekend to Ohio and Northern Kentucky.

Youngstown State is led by junior midfielder Rachel Morrison, who has scored a team-best three goals on the year.

The Bulldogs are 11-1-1 all-time against the Penguins. Butler has never been beaten at home by Youngstown State.

Saturday's contest will be the Bulldogs' final non-conference test of the year. Butler will kick off A-10 play against Saint Louis Saturday, Sept. 29 at the Butler Bowl.
