INDIANAPOLIS - The Butler women's soccer program has made Rob Alman a co-head coach, along with Tari St. John. The coaches, who are married, also received a multi-year contract to lead the Bulldogs.
Alman, a native of Leicester, England, came to Butler in 2011 where he has served as an assistant coach for two years. Prior to coming to BU, Alman served as a director of coaching and also has four years of head coaching experience in the National Premier Soccer League (NPSL) and Women's Premier Soccer League (WPSL).
In addition, he was a part of the NPSL technical staff and was selected to coach a league all-star team in 2010.
Alman holds his USSF 'A' license, along with coaching licenses from UEFA and the NSCAA.

The Bulldogs allowed a school-record low 15 goals last season and were among the nation's best defensive squads, recording 11 shut-outs. Nine starters from last year's team return, including 91 percent of the team's scoring.
