Two Butler sophomores have earned All-Horizon League honors. Caroline Hedrick and Stephanie McLoughlin were honored in a vote by the league's women's tennis coaches.

Clutch singles play at the top and bottom of the lineup finished a 4-3 Butler victory over Wright State in the Horizon League Women's Tennis Championship. BU won four of six in singles play to pick up the victory.

The Butler women's tennis team, 5-3 in league play and seeded No. 4, will take on Wright State Friday at 1 p.m. to open the Horizon League Women's Tennis Championship at North Central High School.

The Butler women's tennis team finished its regular season with an Ohio split, losing 7-0 at Cleveland State and winning 4-3 at Youngstown State. The weekend placed BU fourth in the league standings and as the No. 4 seed in the upcoming league tournament.

With No. 1 singles player Caroline Hedrick returning from injury, the Butler women's tennis team made quick work of Valparaiso in a 7-0 Bulldog victory.

The Butler men's and women's tennis teams hosted a clinic for tennis players in wheelchairs this fall. The Bulldogs help with this program in conjunctions with the Indianapolis Community Tennis Association and the Rehabilitation Hospital of Indianapolis.
