VALPARAISO, Ind. - Valparaiso hit .365 as a team and edged Butler in three close sets as the Bulldog volleyball team was swept at Valpo, 3-0, Friday night. Senior Porshia Allen had a double-double to lead the Bulldogs, who fall to 3-1 in Horizon League play.

The second stanza was tight throughout. Butler led by as many as three, but the Crusaders rallied and the two teams traded points until an Allen kill made it 18-18. Valpo finished on a 7-2 run for a 25-20 win and a 2-0 lead.
