Gina's BU Volleyball Blog - 11/18/09

Hey everybody! Sorry for the delay in the blog this week! My fifth class started a week ago and because it's only a four week class I've been overloaded with assignments and quizzes. Plus, it is the week before Thanksgiving so all of my professors are cramming in papers and exams. I actually am turning in my 20 page paper this Thursday! It didn't take too long to write but I am so glad it is off my plate because I have other exams for Friday.

But despite the academic chaos, we won't even be here on Friday because we're playing in the Horizon League Championship!!! We're seeded fourth and will be playing UIC on Friday at Cleveland State University at 7:30! We've been practicing and competing since August, which seems like forever ago but it really did fly. So the girls and I are so so, so excited and ready to get to CSU and play UIC. We split with them this year and this third time around will be in the semis! So we've had meetings and bonding this week to push us this weekend. The Dawgs are ready!

To review of the full season, we finished 21-13 and 9-0 at home! Defending Hinkle Fieldhouse is a great feeling so it was an awesome season so far but the post season is where everything we've accomplished has to be put on the table.
