Butler will host Michigan State this weekend in a series day filled with drills and competitive play at Hinkle Fieldhouse. Action begins Saturday at 9:30 a.m.
The Bulldogs and Spartans will go through drills and mini-games for two hours during the morning until 11:30. After a break, the two 2010 NCAA Tournament teams will play a best-of-5 match at 1:15.
MSU went 22-12 last season and advanced to the second round of the 2011 NCAA Tournament. Butler went 2-1 in its last action, beating IUPUI and DePaul.
Ball State, which went 25-8 last season, was scheduled to attend but has suffered a rash of injuries during the spring exhibition season.
