INDIANAPOLIS -- The Butler volleyball team will host two matches and attend two day-long events this spring, Bulldogs head coach Sharon Clark announced.
The team will open its spring slate on Thursday, March 20, hosting Notre Dame at Hinkle Fieldhouse. The match will begin at 6 p.m.
The Bulldogs will then host Northern Kentucky at Hinkle on Saturday, March 29, at a time to be announced.
Going on the road, the team will then travel to Valparaiso on Saturday, April 12. Other teams participating in the event are Eastern Michigan and Western Michigan, and the day-long slate of games will begin at 8 a.m.
Butler will close out its spring schedule by travelling to Purdue on Wednesday, April 16, for a cluster of games. The other teams participating in the event are U Indy and Purdue, with games beginning at 5:30 p.m.
The Bulldogs are coming off of their best season of Coach Clark's 14-year tenure, finishing 24-8 overall and 11-5 in the BIG EAST. Three Butler players were recognized after the season, as juniors Belle Obert and Erica Stahl were named 1st Team All-BIG EAST and senior Morgan Peterson was selected to the All-BIG EAST second team.
