INDIANAPOLIS -- Butler Volleyball is happy to announce six summer camps available to a wide variety of ages and skillsets. Camps will take place in June and July at Hinkle Fieldhouse and Shortridge High School, and will be run by Head Coach and Camp Director Sharon Clark. The staffs for the camps are comprised of current and former Butler volleyball athletes. Below is a brief summary of each camp offering:
June 9-12, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m.
Focuses on developing skills in passing, setting, hitting, and serving.
Junior Bulldog Skill Camps
Session One: June 16-20, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Half Day) or 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Shortridge High School
Session Two: June 23-26, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Half Day) or 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Hinkle Fieldhouse
Session Three: July 14-17, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m. (Half Day) or 9 a.m. – 3 p.m., Hinkle Fieldhouse
June 30 - July 2, 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Shortridge High School
Mornings will focus on Hitters/Setters/Blockers, afternoons will focus on Servers/Ball Control
High School Team Building Camp
July 7-9, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Hinkle Fieldhouse
Low Ropes team building activities and Tournament Play
Designed to train and develop mental toughness and leadership skills among high school teams
Nike All Skills and Advanced Sessions
July 10-12, 9 a.m. – 9 p.m., Hinkle Fieldhouse
Volleyball/Basketball/Tennis Day Camp
July 21-24, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Athletes choose between basketball or tennis for morning activities
All afternoon sessions will focus on volleyball (can be purchased separately for discounted price)
