Butler student-athletes showed off their skills not only on the field, but in the classroom during the fall of 2019. The Butler Athletics department and its teams combined to post an impressive semester GPA of 3.392.
This effort was led by the 60 student-athletes who posted a 4.0 GPA during the semester.
To make the Athletic Director's Honor Roll, a student-athlete must post a GPA of 3.25 or higher. This semester, 365 student-athletes earned this honor, which is 30 more than in the fall of 2018.

Of Butler's 18 athletic programs, the women's soccer team posted the highest-team GPA with an 3.734. The dance team followed closely behind with a 3.70 GPA for the term, and the women's cross country and women's track and field team both posted a 3.633 for the semester.
On the men's side, the men's cross country team earned a 3.487 as a team, followed closely by the men's track and field team with a 3.453.GPA. Rounding out the top-three was men's golf with a 3.250 mark for the semester.
