Andrea Baylin

Butler volleyball head coach Sharon Clark hired Andrea Baylin as an assistant coach in 2016. Baylin was a three-time team captain while playing at SE Missouri State. The versatile player spent a majority of her time playing outside hitter, but would move to libero when needed. She left campus after recording over 1,000 digs in a Redhawk uniform.
 
During her senior campaign, Baylin led the team with 314 kills (2.78 per set) while appearing in 113 of 116 total sets. She was second on the team with 19 service aces and also recorded the second-most digs on the team with 353.
 
After her playing career, Baylin coached the boys team at Notre Dame High School in Cape Girardeau. Most recently she spent time coaching the Academy Volleyball Club and Team Indiana.
 
Baylin graduated from SE Missouri State in 2015 with honors, while earning an Ohio Valley Conference Academic Medal of Honor. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in psychology with a minor in coaching and social work. At Butler, Baylin is starting her second year of graduate school. She will graduate in 2018 with a Master's in School Counseling and a License for Mental Health Counseling.
