WASHINGTON D.C. – The Bulldogs hit a season-high 16 3-point field goals, but a late 17-8 run from Georgetown in the final three minutes of the game gave the Hoyas their first BIG EAST win of the season 85-79.

Mandy McDivitt and Blaire Langlois were each lights out from behind the arc as the duo combined to hit 11 3-point field goals for the Bulldogs. Langlois scored a career-high 19 points going 5-of-7 from distance with four assists.

McDivitt did a majority of her damage in the first half as the senior tied her career-high with 18 points on 6-of-13 shooting. All six of McDivitt's made field goals were from 3-point range.

Butler ended the game with four players in double figures as Liz Stratman poured in 12 points and Haley Howard added 11. Ashton Feldhaus scored a career-high nine points with a few late buckets and the guard combination of Taylor Schippers and Lexus Murry rounded out the scoring with six and four points respectively.

Andrea White led Georgetown to victory behind a 25 point, 10 rebound performance. Faith Woodard was a force with 16 points and six rebounds, but the game turned around behind the high-level of play between Katie McCormick and Natalie Butler who each exploded in the second half to pace the team with 18 and 15 points respectively.

Butler shot 44 percent from the field and 45 percent from 3-point land. The Hoyas made a huge push in the second half to score 55 points on 18-of-29 shooting (62%) which included a 4-for-6 effort from distance.

Butler will look to get back on track with a road game at St. John's on Wednesday, Jan. 15. Their final three games in the month of January will be played at Hinkle Fieldhouse.
