Freshman Zack Carrabine fired a 1-under 70 in the opening round of the D.A. Weibring Intercollegiate at Weibring Golf Club in Normal, Ill., on Sunday morning. He followed that with a 77 and stands in a tie for 21st entering Monday's final round. 

Carrabine paces the Butler team, which is tied for 12th in the field. Gehrig Hollatz (76-74) and Joey Arcuri (77-74) are just a few shots behind. Ricky Kuiper carded back-to-back rounds of 78 on Sunday and Connor Dudley had a 76 in the second round to follow a morning 82. 

Host Illinois State has a 12-shot lead over Central Arkansas entering the final round. IPFW's Jacob Groninger is in the individual lead with a two-round total of 140 (72-68)
