Hollatz and @ButlerUGolf Claim Big Four Titles at Crooked Stick

Butler freshman Gehrig Hollatz took individual honors at the Big Four event Tuesday at Crooked Stick Golf Club in Carmel, Ind. Hollatz fired a two-under 70 at the course that will be the site of the PGA Tour's BMW Championship later this year.

Hollatz finished his round with an eagle on the par-5 ninth hole after starting on the back nine.

Butler won the four-team event, as the Bulldogs' score of 294 bettered DePauw (318), Hanover (318) and Wabash (358).

Max Gagnier finished tied for second overall with a round of 74, joining Hanover's Ben Hamilton. Butler's Joey Arcuri and Zack Carrabine each carded 75. Ricky Kuiper shot 79 and Brigham Stewart had a round of 80. Butler had six of the best 11 scorecards on the day.

Butler returns to action April 15 in Muncie, Ind., at Ball State's Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational. The BIG EAST Championships begin April 30.
