Scouting Eastern Kentucky
The Colonels are 2-0 at the start of the season with wins over Northern Kentucky (69-62) and Memphis (63-60). Eight different student-athletes average at least five points per game for first-year head coach Samantha Williams. Two different starting lineups have been used this season, but expect Bria Bass, I'Liyah Green and De'ayra Davis to be impact players for EKU. Bass leads the club in scoring with 22 points over two games. Green is a double-double threat inside that averages 8.5 points and a team-best 9.5 rebounds. Davis is the third member of the trio to start in each game this season. She leads the team in free throw attempts and is currently averaging 7.5 points per contest. Eastern Kentucky recently outscored Memphis 30-22 in the fourth quarter to collect a three-point win on the road. Bass led the team to victory with 13 points and eight rebounds.

Career-Night for Spolyar
Kristen Spolyar's 37 points vs. Detroit Mercy on Nov. 13 was one of the greatest scoring performances in Butler women's basketball history. Spolyar is just the third player to score 37 points at BU joining Sarah Bolten ('01) and Elza Purvlicis ('84).

Tenley Tears ACL
