Butler and IUPUI will hit the hardwood on Wednesday night at 7 PM to reunite an old rivalry. The cross-town rivals will meet for the 24th time. In honor of National Educator's Week, any educator who shows their school ID at Gate 4 guest services will receive a special gift.

- Kristen Spolyar was named BIG EAST Player of the Week on Monday, Nov. 18.
- Spolyar averaged 28 points, 9.5 boards and 2.5 steals in wins over Detroit Mercy and EKU.
- Spolyar leads the BIG EAST in points per game (24.3) and ranks ninth in the NCAA.
- Butler ranks second in the BIG EAST in scoring offense (76.3).
- The Bulldogs lead the BIG EAST in steals per game (16.3) and rank fifth in the NCAA.
- BU only allowed two points in the first quarter vs. EKU.
- BU leads the conference and ranks ninth in the NCAA in turnovers forced (26.3).
- Spolyar and Genesis Parker have scored in double figures in all three games.

Scouting IUPUI                                                                                       
The Jags are 2-1 at the start of the season with wins over Ball State and Southern Illinois. They lost their last game at No. 17/19 Miami 74-65. Head Coach Austin Parkinson enters his 10th season on the IUPUI sideline. He has a balanced scoring attack in 2019 that features four players averaging double figures in the scoring column. Rachel McLimore is averaging 14.3 points per game and shooting 45 percent from the field. Macee Williams ranks second on the team in points (12.3) and is the top rebounder on the floor for IUPUI (7.0). IUPUI is shooting 40 percent from 3-point range this season. The top 3-point shooter on the roster is Destiny Perkins (5-9).
 
Spolyar Named BIG EAST Player of the Week                                 
Kristen Spolyar hit a hot streak in a 2-0 week for Butler, averaging a BIG EAST-best 28.0 points, while posting the third-highest rebounding clip of the week at 9.5 boards per contest. She shot .571 from the field and .455 from deep, adding 2.5 steals per game. Against Detroit Mercy on Wednesday, Spolyar scored a career-high 37 points while grabbing 13 rebounds, before going for 19 points and six boards in Sunday's win over Eastern Kentucky.
 
Driven by Defense                                                                                               
Butler has completely dominated at least one quarter of play in every game this season. In the season opener vs. Wagner, BU won the first quarter 27-9. They followed that effort against the Titans by outscoring Detroit Mercy 28-12 in the second quarter. Most recently, BU won the opening quarter 14-2 vs. Eastern Kentucky. EKU went 1-for-15 over the opening 10 minutes of action.
 
Dialing Long Distance                                                                           
Butler hit seven 3-point field goals vs. Eastern Kentucky in their 73-41 victory. The result marked Butler's first 30-point win since Jan. 20, 2019 when they won 75-43 at Creighton. The 'Dawgs shot 50 percent from 3-point land for the first time since March 23, 2019 when they hit 53.3 percent of their triples vs. Kent State in the WNIT.
 
Godlevske vs. Horizon League   
Head Coach Kurt Godlevske is 1-3 vs. Horizon League opponents. He is 1-1 vs. Wright State and 0-2 vs. Green Bay.
 
Scoring Runs                                                                                           
Butler had an 11-0 scoring run vs. Wagner, a 13-0 scoring run vs. Detroit Mercy and a 12-0 scoring run vs. Eastern Kentucky. They are outscoring their opponent 115-54 in the first half and have won all three games by 16+ points.
 
Hoosier Hoops               
IUPUI beat Ball State 65-48 on Nov. 5. Rachel McLimore, Macee Williams and Sydney Roule combined for 43 of the 65 points. Butler will play at Ball State on Saturday, host Indiana on Dec. 11 and host Purdue Fort Wayne on Dec. 22.
