DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. – Georgia led from start to finish on Friday afternoon to notch their fifth win of the season. The Battle of the Bulldogs marked the first game of the 2019 Daytona Beach Invitational. The Bulldogs will play again tomorrow at 11 AM vs. Ohio.
Butler shot the ball poorly in Florida, ending the game with just eight made field goals on 46 attempts (17.4).

Kristen Spolyar led Butler in the scoring column with eight points each. Eight different 'Dawgs scored and all 13 active players would see the court in the lop-sided loss.
Georgia got production from Maya Caldwell and Gabby Connally. The duo combined to score 32 and hit four of the five shots for Georgia behind the arc.
Oumou Toure gave Butler solid minutes with four points, three steals and a team-high seven rebounds.
N'Dea Flye also came off the bench to post three points, four rebounds and a team-best five steals.
20 of Butler's 36 final points came from the free throw line. The 'Dawgs shot 60 percent from the stripe taking 33 attempts from the foul line compared to just 14 from Georgia. UGA dominated on the glass (+13) and hit five more 3-pointers than BU.
