Scouting #12 Indiana
The nationally-ranked Indiana Hoosiers are 8-1 this year with signature victories over then-ranked #5 South Carolina (71-57) and #21 Miami (58-45). Their lone setback came against #2 Baylor 77-62. IU was picked to finish third in the league's coaches poll and fourth by the media in the preseason. Head Coach Teri Moren returns Ali Patberg, Brenna Wise and Jaelynn Penn to the lineup in 2019. Junior guard Bendu Yeaney has yet to play this season as she continues to rehab a torn Achilles suffered in the NCAA Tournament last season. IU is averaging 76.8 points per game. They lead the Big Ten and rank eighth in the nation in field goal percentage (48.0).

Moren Knows The State
Hoosier Head Coach Teri Moren is an Indiana native that coached at Butler as an assistant from 1992-1998. She became a head coach in 2000 by taking over the program at Indianapolis for seven seasons. Her next stop was at Indiana State during the 2010 campaign. Moren left the Sycamores in 2014-15 to become the head coach at Indiana. As a player, Moren was a two-year starter at Purdue and was part of three NCAA Tournament teams.
