The U.S Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) has named the Butler men's and women's cross country teams as All-Academic Teams for the 2018 cross country season. To be nominated, the teams must carry a GPA of 3.0 or higher.

The women's team posted a GPA of 3.54, while the men collected a 3.21 cumulative GPA.

Redshirt-Junior Euan Makepeace was individually recognized by the USTFCCCA as an All-Academic member. This honor is given to runners who carry a GPA of 3.25 or higher and finish in the top-25 (or 10 percent) at regionals or as an All-American in the national meet.

267 total student-athletes received this honor, with women accounting for 58.4 percent of that total.
