CHICAGO — The No. 3 seed Bulldogs fell to the No. 6 seed Creighton 60-51 Sunday night in the Quarterfinals of the BIG EAST Tournament at Wintrust Arena in Chicago, Ill.
Jaylyn Agnew scored 13 points, Olivia Elger had 11 and Audrey Faber added 10 as the sixth seed Bluejays (15-15) earned a Monday date with No. 2 seed DePaul.
Butler had swept the regular season series, beating the Bluejays 75-43 on Jan. 20 on the road and 66-46 on Feb. 15 at home.

Tori Schickel paced the Bulldogs (21-9) with a game-high 16 points,
Michelle Weaver had 11 and
Whitney Jennings added 10
Tatum Rembao layup broke a 27-27 tie late in the first half as Creighton claimed a 29-27 halftime lead. Agnew paced the Bluejays with eight first half points, including a pair of 3 pointers. Jennings topped the Bulldogs with 10.
Neither team gained much traction in a third quarter featuring five ties, including a late 42-42 deadlock broken by a free throw by Creighton's Faber with four seconds showing.
The Bulldogs trailed 49-44 with 7:13 left in regulation and were held scoreless for the next 4:08. Creighton opened a 55-47 lead during that span and Butler was unable to significantly close the gap.

Kurt Godlevske's as coach of the year and senior guard
Michelle Weaver named as league Defensive Player of the Year. Schickel, a forward/center, landed on the BIG EAST second team.
Creighton's Faber was a first team honoree.
Tourney play continues Monday with semifinals at 3 and 5:30 p.m. (CDT). Tuesday's championship is set for 7 p.m. and will be televised on Fox Sports 1.
