FLORENCE – The Bulldogs traveled from Rome to Florence for a three-night stay. A high-speed train was the means of transportation for the staff and student-athletes, and a walking tour of the new city would follow upon arrival.
Day two in Florence was highlighted by a game against their all-star team.
Upe Atosu and
Emilia Sexton were the leading scorers with Atosu responsible for a team-high 15 points and Sexton hitting from distance to net 14.
Shae Brey nearly notched a double-double with 12 points and seven rebounds. Another complete effort was recorded by
N'Dea Flye who posted eight points, five rebounds and a team-best six assists.
After two days in Florence, BU traveled by bus to nearby Pisa. Multiple pictures were taken with the Leaning Tower of Pisa and then the group would head to the beach for a quick swim.
Today was a travel day for BU and in order to break up the trip, the Bulldogs stopped for lunch in Bologna. The last three days of the European trip will be spent in Venice. Follow the Dawgs on Twitter @ButlerUWBB to see more photos. Fans can also search for #DawgsInItaly
