How It Happened
The Bulldogs struck first, as Pattison found the net less than two minutes into the game. The Blue Hose answered with back to back goals, going up 2-1. A man-up goal by Guerra evened the match, until another set of goals by Presbyterian saw the Blue Hose go up 4-2.

After a Bulldog time out, the tides changed. Butler went on to outscore the Blue Hose 11-1 throughout the end of the first half and into the second, giving the Bulldogs their biggest lead of the game at 13-5.

Presbyterian closed out the game with a run of their own, outscoring Butler 4-1, but the gap made by the Bulldogs was too wide, finalizing a 14-9 victory for the Bulldogs.

The Bulldogs took advantage offensively during Blue Hose penalties, scoring goals on all three man-up opportunities. Butler also had a man-down goal in the game, thanks to nice set up that saw Guerra feed Hall for her eighth goal of the season.

Guerra and Pattison had three-goals each, while Ashley Steffes and Hall added two goals apiece for the Bulldogs.

Defensively, Davide caused two turnovers and grabbed four ground balls. BIG EAST Defender of the Week, Amanda Rumsey, had four saves on 15 shots faced, posting a 7.56 GAA in the cage.

Looking Ahead
The Bulldogs will hit the road for another three-game swing, starting Wednesday, March 11 at Robert Morris in Moon Township, Penn. Game time against the Colonials is set for 3 p.m.
