@ButlerUGolf Men Lead Tontimonia Invitational After Opening 18 Holes

The Bulldogs went low on the scorecard and high on the leaderboard, ending the first round of the Tom Tontimonia Invitational in first place.
 
Butler combined for a one-under 283 in the opening 18 holes, which gives the Bulldogs a one-shot lead over Oakland. There are 13 teams in the field.
 
Raymond Sullivan, Damon Dickey and Stephen Kocerha each shot one-under 70s Monday on the 7,059-yard Lakewood Country Club course.
 
Kocerha birdied three of his first four holes and had five birdies for the round. Dickey and Sullivan had four and three birdies, respectively.
 
The trio is tied for third place. Kasey Lilly of Purdue Fort Wayne and Dayton's Kyle Schmidt are tied for the lead after shooting two-under 69s.
 
Daniel Tanaka and Henry Quinn each shot 73 (+2) Monday, tying for 23rd.
 
Monday was originally scheduled for 36 holes, but the day was shortened to a single round due to the weather in Cleveland.
 
The final 18 holes are set for Tuesday with an 8:45 a.m. tee time. Live scoring will be available on GolfStat.
