Final Results

The Bulldogs fell into a tie for eighth to finish off the Tom Tontimonia Invitational hosted by Cleveland State Tuesday.
 
Butler shot a 16-over 300 in Tuesday's final round after opening the event with a score of 283 (-1) Monday. Oakland won the event at 570 (+2) after entering the final round one shot off the Bulldogs' lead. There were 13 teams in the field.
 
Freshman Henry Quinn utilized five birdies Tuesday to post a two-under 69 in the final round on the 7,059-yard Lakewood Country Club course. He finished at even-par 142 and in a tie for seventh.
 
Freshman Damon Dickey finished in a tie for 26th at 146 (+4). He shot 70 in the first round before carding a five-over 76 Tuesday.
 
Stephen Kocerha shot 148 (+6) for the event, which put him in a tie for 41st. Raymond Sullivan and Daniel Tanaka tied for 50th at 150 (+8).
 
Kasey Lilly of Purdue Fort Wayne entered the final round tied for the lead before shooting a three-under 68, which put him at 137 (-5) for the tournament and gave him a one-shot win over Oakland's Anthony Comito.
 
Monday was originally scheduled for 36 holes, but the day was shortened to a single round due to the weather in Cleveland.
 
The Bulldogs return to action with the Xavier Invitational that begins Oct. 18.
