Butler women's tennis head coach Mat Iandolo has announced the signing of Chase Metcalf to the 2022 recruiting class.

The Burr Ridge, Ill., native attends Hinsdale South and is a first team Illinois All-State selection and Top 5 prospect in the state.

"We are very excited to sign Chase," Iandolo said. "She is a very athletic, highly intelligent lefthander who has become one of the best junior players in the ultra-competitive Chicago area."

"I chose Butler because I loved the coaching staff and once I met the team I knew it was a place I wanted to be," said Metcalf. "I can see myself improving and developing a lot with these coaches and this team. I am so excited to finally be able to play tennis in the college atmosphere with this amazing team!"

Metcalf is currently the lone signee in the class after Iandolo brought aboard five freshmen for this year's class.
