Butler redshirt freshman
Daniel Tanaka set a new program-record Saturday, firing a six-under 64 in the final round of the Earl Yestingsmeier Invitational.

Tanaka started on No. 10 and recorded two birdies and two bogeys prior to making the turn. His final nine holes included six birdies on the 6,501-yard Delaware Country Club course. Tanaka's performance broke the Butler record of 65 (on a par-70 course) previously held by Andrew Wegeng from the 2011 Butler Fall Invitational.

Tanaka climbed 29 positions on the leaderboard with his 64 Saturday, which was three shots better than anyone else in the 81-player field. Tanaka finished in 30
th at 216 (+6). He opened the tournament with rounds of 77 and 75 Friday.

The second-best round of the day Saturday belonged to Butler true freshman
Damon Dickey. His three-under 67 included three birdies and no bogeys. For the tournament, Dickey was Butler's top finisher, climbing into a tie for 11
th Saturday. His 54-hole total of 211 (+1) featured Friday rounds of 72 and 72 to go along with Saturday's 67.

As a team, the Bulldogs finished 11
th at 876 (+36). Butler rebounded from an opening-round 303 with team scores of 287 in Friday's second round and 286 Saturday. Saturday's 286 was the third-best team score of the round.

Wright State took the tournament title at 818 (-22). The Raiders were 38 shots better than second-place Bowling Green (856; +16).

Cole Corder of Wright State won the event at 10-under 200. His 62 in Friday's opening round set a new tournament record. Ball State's Kash Bellar also shot 62 Friday morning. Wright State had four of the top six individual finishers.

Henry Quinn finished tied for 50
th for the Bulldogs. His final-round 78 gave him a 54-hole total of 225 (+15). Quinn shot an even-par 70 in Friday's second round.
Weston Guili tied for 60
th at 227 (+17). His tournament was highlighted by an even-par 70 in the second round.

Nick Williams tied for 68
th at 231 (+21).
Jack Wilcox, playing as an individual, tied for 70
th at 232 (+22).

The Bulldogs are back in action Sept. 27-28 at the Zach Johnson Invitational, which will be hosted by Drake.
