Final Results
Lexington, Ky. – Matthew Wigelsworth,
Liam Dennis and
Trey Harris finished 1-2-3 in the 800m run to highlight the final day of the Jim Green Invitational on Saturday.
Wigelsworth posted a time of 1:52.97 to win the event, while Dennis (1:53.27) and Harris (1:54.05) finished close behind to claim the podium spots. The time for Dennis was a lifetime best.
Three Butler student-athletes finished second in other events, including
Tom Pitkin in the 400m (47.48),
Evan Byrne in the 3000m run (8:14.71) and
Kami Hankins in the women's 3000m (9:34.56).
The Bulldogs will look to build on their performances at Indiana's Gladstein Invitational, which begins this Friday, January 21 in Bloomington.
