NEW YORK – The women's basketball game between Butler and Seton Hall set for Friday, Jan. 7 at Walsh Gym has been canceled.

The BIG EAST Conference has announced the following women's basketball games have also been canceled: Butler at Seton Hall (Jan. 7), Xavier at Seton Hall (Jan. 9) and Villanova at Georgetown (Jan. 9).

The cancellations are a result of COVID issues within the Butler, Seton Hall and Villanova programs. Per the BIG EAST game cancellation policy, the Conference office will attempt to reschedule the games in accordance with the parameters of the policy.
