The Bulldogs finished off the regular season portion of the schedule by sending a handful of student-athletes to the Illini Open. The event, hosted by the University of Illinois, took place Friday afternoon at the University of Illinois Arboretum in Urbana, Ill.
The women ran a 5k course, while the men negotiated an 8k trek.
Butler's performances included strong showings by several young Bulldogs running unattached.
