Butler was part of a 24-team field at the ITA Ohio Valley Regionals, hosted over the past few days at the University of Tennessee in Knoxville.
Natalie Boesing won both of her qualifying matches in straight sets to earn a spot in the Round of 64. She ended the singles portion of her tournament with a 2-2 mark.
Freshman
Chase Metcalf posted a 3-1 singles record, which included two wins in the consolation portion of the bracket.
Boesing and Metcalf also combined to win an opening-round doubles match and advance to the Round of 32.
Delaney Schurhamer and
Katie Beavin also represented the Bulldogs in Knoxville.
The Bulldogs complete the fall portion of the schedule with the Michigan State Invitational Nov. 4-6.
