INDIANAPOLIS -- Butler women's basketball single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public this Friday, Oct. 7. Bulldog fans can purchase tickets online at
ButlerSports.com/BuyTickets or in person at the Butler Athletics Ticket Office at Hinkle Fieldhouse (which is open Monday through Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.).

The Bulldogs will play 15 regular season games at Hinkle Fieldhouse this year, beginning with a 7PM tip vs. Chicago State on Wednesday, Nov. 9. IUPUI, Tennessee State, Southern Indiana and Illinois round out the rest of the non-conference teams visiting Indianapolis. BU will host St. John's in the BIG EAST opener on Friday, Dec. 2 and just one month later, the Bulldogs will face the UConn Huskies on Tuesday, Jan. 3.

The Bulldogs will be under the direction of first-year head coach
Austin Parkinson for the 2022-23 campaign. Parkinson previously spent 12 seasons at IUPUI where he left as the program's all-time wins leader (224). The Jaguars made two NCAA appearances during his tenure and had one student-athlete drafted in the WNBA.

The 2022-23 roster includes seven returners and eight newcomers.
Trinity White is the top returning scorer on the squad (7.5 ppg). Other 'Dawgs back in the mix that saw significant minutes a year ago include
Tenley Dowell,
Kendall Wingler and
Sydney Jaynes. Parkinson pulled in five transfers during the off-season including
Rachel McLimore and
Anna Mortag from IUPUI.
Shay Frederick (Valparaiso) and
Caroline Strande (Minnesota) will also be in line for playing time. The revamped roster also includes the 2021 Gatorade Indiana Girls Basketball Player of the Year
Jessica Carrothers.
