The Bulldogs swam against in-state competition on Saturday, taking on UIndy in a dual meet. The meet was highlighted by Butler's two first place finishes in the 200 Free and 100 Fly.
Olivia Stotts was tabbed "Swimmer of the Meet" for the Bulldogs after great performances in the 50 Free, 100 Free, and 200 Free Relay.

Kate Schilling won the 200 Free with a time of 1:57.50. Her teammates were close behind as
Elizabeth Naylor and
Emily Landwehr clocked times of 2:00.78 and 2:02.00, placing third and fourth.

Landwehr shined for Butler in the 100 Breast as well. She placed fourth, but she broke her season-best time with the 1:08.30 swim.

Alani Hightower-Bend swam a winning 100 Fly time of 58.70. Schilling also impressed in the 100 Fly event, placing third with her time of 59.97.

Despite finishing fifth, the 200 Medley relay team of
Caroline Zimner,
Alexa Vota, Schilling, and
Megan VanValkenburgh raced their fastest time of the season, touching the wall with a time of 1:53.01. The Bulldogs also swam a fast time of 1:39.87 in the 200 Free Relay as Hightower-Bend,
Abigail Roberts,
Olivia Stotts, and Landwehr finished second place.

Roberts and Stotts led Butler in the 50 Free earning third and fifth place. Roberts was timed at 24.84 while Stotts was just behind with her 25.06. The two also took fourth and fifth respectively in the 100 Free with times of 55.06 and 55.52.

Cotter Welch earned Butler another top three finish in the 1000 Free. Her 11:10.06 time put her in third and wasn't far off her personal best.

Zimner finished strong in the 100 Back to take second with a time of 59.15.
Olivia McKee came in fifth in the same event, clocking in at 1:01.66. Zimner also swam fast in the 400 IM taking fourth with a 4:31.06.

The Bulldog's added two more top five finishes in the 500 Free as
Grace Crane and Naylor raced times of 5:21.66 and 5:31.91 which placed them in third and fourth place.
